A fashion marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of second-hand and new clothing across Argentina — web platform and mobile app, end to end.

Mi Ropero is a full-featured fashion marketplace where individual sellers set up their own stores and list garments for sale. Buyers browse by category, brand, size, and condition — then transact directly through the platform with integrated shipping and payments.

We built the complete platform — from initial UX definition through wireframes, user flows, and interaction design, all the way to backend CMS, customer-facing web, native mobile apps, and the SOAP API layer connecting all surfaces. From buyer registration and seller storefronts to cart, offers, promotions, ratings, and messaging.

The backend dashboard gives administrators a real-time view of the entire marketplace: clients, stores, products, operations, and revenue — with filters, export to PDF, and geographic breakdowns by province.

A two-sided marketplace — buyers, sellers, and admins — all connected through a single platform with web, app, and API surfaces.

A fashion marketplace isn't just a store — it's an ecosystem. Sellers need storefronts, inventory management, and order handling. Buyers need search, cart, offers, messaging, and ratings. Admins need visibility across thousands of products and operations. And the mobile app needs to talk to all of it in real time.

WHAT WE BUILT

UX, Wireframes & Workflows

Full UX definition before a single line of code — user personas, buyer and seller journeys, information architecture, interaction flows, and screen-by-screen wireframes. Every module was schematized: registration, discovery, listing, cart, checkout, offer negotiation, messaging, ratings, and admin workflows.

Brand Identity & Visual Design

Logo design, color palette, typography system, iconography, and brand guidelines — built to work across web, iOS, and Android. Warm, accessible aesthetic for the second-hand fashion space. Design system with components, spacing, states, and patterns used consistently across all three surfaces.

Seller Storefronts & Product Catalog

Sellers create their own stores and manage product listings with categories, brands, sizes, conditions, and photos. The admin backend handles the full taxonomy — categories, subcategories, and brand registry — keeping the catalog structured and searchable at scale.

Cart, Offers & Transactions

Full cart management with add, update, delete, and purge. A dedicated offer system lets buyers make counteroffers that sellers can accept, decline, or counter. Operations track the full lifecycle of every transaction, with provincia-level geographic data for logistics and reporting.

Promotions Engine

Configurable discount system with unique promo codes. Supports three application types (products, shipping, or total cart), two discount modes (fixed amount or percentage), and conditional rules — first purchase, minimum spend, and destination province. Managed entirely from the backend.

Messaging, Ratings & Favourites

In-platform messaging between buyers and sellers — threaded by store and conversation, with full read/write/list API. Buyer ratings for completed transactions, searchable and aggregated by seller. Favourites let users save stores and products for later. Abuse reports handled through a dedicated denouncement flow.

Native Mobile Apps — iOS & Android

Native apps built in Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) — not cross-compiled, not hybrid. Full feature parity with the web platform, powered by a SOAP API layer covering authentication, products, cart, offers, orders, messaging, ratings, favourites, and collections. We handled App Store and Google Play submission, review, publication, and ongoing maintenance of both apps.

Backend CMS & Admin Dashboard

Full administration platform at miropero.com.ar/backend — real-time KPIs for clients, stores, products, and revenue. Filterable by date range with PDF/email export. Operations mapped by province and charted by month. Role-based user management with audit trail.

UX, Wireframes & Workflows

We led the full UX process before development started — user research, personas, buyer and seller journeys, information architecture, and screen-by-screen wireframes for web and app. Every flow was schematized: onboarding, search, listing, cart, checkout, offer negotiation, messaging, ratings, and all admin workflows.

Native iOS & Android — Code & Publishing

Both apps written in native code — Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android. No cross-platform shortcuts. We handled development, App Store and Google Play submission, review process, publication, and ongoing version maintenance for both platforms.

Two-sided marketplace logic

Separate flows for buyers and sellers — seller storefronts, inventory management, and earnings reporting on one side; search, discovery, cart, and purchase on the other. Both connected through shared transaction and messaging infrastructure.

Promotions — rule-based engine

Configurable discount codes with conditional logic — apply to products, shipping, or total cart. Rules cover first purchase, minimum spend, destination province, per-user usage limits, and date ranges. Entirely managed from the admin backend.
